Reaching For Our Target!

As part of the P&A Group of Companies, Zest 4 Leisure have taken part in a number of sporting and fund raising events for our 2018 chosen charity – Action for Children.

At P & A we raise money for a different charity every year, participating in various events including marathons, Iron man and even Cycling to Paris! Last year, Managing Director Steve Morgan and colleagues took part in several gruelling events raising over £20,000 for Cancer Research UK.

We’re proud to say that this year was no different! We have successfully beaten our £10,000 and raised a huge £10,365 for Action for Children!

How We Took Action

This year, our passionate employees and Managing Director Steve completed several big sporting events including the iconic London Marathon, a gruelling Iron Man course, The Chester Marathon and the Flintshire 10k Challenge.

We even took part in smaller events including Golf Days and ‘It’s a knock out’ tournaments and all the money raised was sent straight to our fundraising page.

Don’t Miss Out!

If you missed out on sponsoring one of our many challenges this year, don’t worry. It’s never to late to show your support and donate and to the Action For Children Charity, every penny helps!

Even the smallest donation can go a long way towards helping these children. For example;

  • £5.00 could pay for emergency overnight support for a young person on the verge of homelessness.
  • £10 can help pay for swimming or hydrotherapy sessions for children suffering with a disability.
  • £20 can help pay for food parcels
  • £50 can fund a one-to-one counselling session for a child who has been abused.

In the UK alone over 1.5 million children are suffering from neglect. Action for children provide help for those who need it most.
